Overview
CloudBees Unify was the company’s flagship product launch — a unified software delivery platform combining multiple DevSecOps capabilities under one experience.
As the primary marketing designer supporting the launch, I helped define the visual direction and campaign assets that introduced Unify to the market, connecting the product story to the 3.0 brand identity.
Challenges
Communicate a complex, multi-product platform clearly and visually.
Maintain alignment with the 3.0 brand system and newly developed illustration framework.
Balance fast turnaround needs with creative innovation for a global product launch.
Coordinate closely across product marketing, UX, and development teams to ensure cohesion across all channels.
Deliver a large-scale, multi-team campaign that met tight timelines without compromising design quality.
Process
Discovery & Foundation: Began by analyzing the product’s unique value proposition and positioning in the DevSecOps landscape. Reviewed competitor launches and visual strategies to identify how CloudBees could stand apart with a clear, consistent narrative. Leveraged the 3.0 brand system to maintain visual continuity while evolving the style for this new product identity.
Concept Development: Collaborated with Product Marketing (PMM) and UX teams to define key messaging pillars and visual themes centered around simplicity, connectedness, and control. From these, we shaped a design language that reflected the platform’s core purpose - unifying teams and tools.
Asset Creation: Designed hero graphics, campaign visuals, web and social assets, and event materials, ensuring brand consistency while adding new stylistic layers unique to Unify. Integrated visuals into responsive web layouts and coordinated with developers to ensure fidelity in build.
Cross-Functional Execution: Partnered with PMM, UX, and development teams in a tightly integrated workflow — daily feedback cycles, design QA, and iteration — to ensure all visual elements aligned with both the product experience and the overall campaign strategy.
Launch Coordination: Supported rollout across digital campaigns, landing pages, internal enablement materials, and event visuals, ensuring a cohesive and impactful introduction of CloudBees Unify to the market.

Successfully delivered the global Unify launch on time and in sync with the 3.0 brand identity.
Established the visual foundation for future CloudBees product launches.
Strengthened cross-team workflows between marketing, design, and UX.
Extended the reach and consistency of the 3.0 system through applied execution.
Takeaways
The Unify launch was a crash course in cross-functional collaboration under pressure, and one of the most rewarding projects of my time at CloudBees. It reminded me how essential clear communication and shared ownership are when design, marketing, and web align toward a common goal. From tight timelines to major milestones, this project reinforced how powerful design becomes when every team moves in sync, and how gratifying it is to see that work live in the world.
